Ancient Autopsy – More4

I edit produced and directed 2×60 episodes of this new four part ancient history series with an investigative twist for More4.

My episodes follow Professor Suzannah Lipscomb as she unravels how titans of history Cleopatra and Tutankhamun died. Combining presenter-led actuality including everything from venomous snakes to riding ancient Egyptian chariots, with expert interviews, specially commissioned animation, archive and cutting edge forensic pathology to explore 4 intriguing theories per episode. The investigations dispel some of the common misconceptions about the deaths of these icons of ancient history while presenting new theories and the latest approaches to understanding their lives.

I worked with two editors across both edits simultaneously to hit tight channel deadlines in Avid over 5 weeks.
