I series produced and directed this brand-new 3×30 project for BBC Wales presented by Carol Vorderman, part travelogue, part social history, profiling inspirational characters and stories that tapped into aspects of Carol’s upbringing across North Wales. I developed the series proposition with the channel and Executive Producer, introducing a social history and archive element and using a road trip device as a way of getting more intimate, unguarded reflection from our presenter as for her this series was a personal and emotional journey. I produced and researched, scripted, and location directed across all three episodes, managing a part-time AP and PD, edit producing two of the three episodes, and overseeing all aspects of post-production. I managed the safe delivery of the entire project throughout the Covid 19 pandemic period.
